What Worth Built in the First Half of 2026

Six months later, the customer base increased by 75%, the team grew by 40%, and the platform's application processing capacity reached five times what it was at the start of the year.
We just wrapped our H2 kickoff earlier this month — the perfect bookend to close out a great H1 — but before diving into what’s next, here are some of the highlights from the beginning of the year.
$30M Series A
In March, Worth closed a $30 million Series A round led by American Express Ventures, Fulcrum Equity Partners, and TTV Capital. The capital is going toward refining Worth's existing technology, introducing Know Your Agent frameworks, and deploying new product capabilities.
The timing mattered. This was capital raised on the back of results — a growing customer base, early product traction, and a market that's increasingly looking for what Worth is building.
What the customer data shows
Across Worth's customer base in H1, the platform reduced application abandonment by 43% and increased approval rates by 37%. Those gains don't come from moving faster at the expense of accuracy; rather, they come from having better data and cleaner decision logic in place before a case even reaches underwriters. The platform crosswalks more than 1,200 data points per business, drawing on an owned data pool of over 350 million businesses, which makes the decision logic cleaner before anything reaches a reviewer.
In February, Worth hosted a webinar with Priority Payments. They discussed how in only four months using Worth's Decisioning Engine, their company increased the number of applications it processed by 44% without adding headcount. It served as an excellent example of the tangible results our customers see, and how those improvements to operational efficiency help their teams.
Worth in the industry
The conversation with Priority Payments was one of several Worth hosted and joined across H1. It was a busy few months. The team traveled to nine events between February and June — from SkiTech and NEAA, to Safeguard, FinTech Meetup, NY Fintech Week, SEAA, and American Banker’s Digital Banking Conference.
Sal presented at Transact in March about the rise of AI agents in financial decisioning. At SXSW that same month, Suneera spoke at both the Inc. Founders House and Google's Women Future Forward. In June, Abel Augusthy, Worth's Head of Solutions, led a live platform demo webinar showing how Worth pre-fills an application from three fields and carries it through KYB, KYC, fraud, and credit checks to an auto-decisioned outcome.
Company leadership also received noteworthy industry recognition during H1. Sal was named to the Orlando Business Journal's 2026 Game Changers list. Chief Evangelist and Co-founder Suneera Madhani was named to Inc. Magazine's Female Founders 500.
The team behind it all
Worth relocated its U.S. headquarters to an 8,000-square-foot office in Winter Park, Fla., creating room for a local team that nearly doubled in the first half of the year, with roughly 40% global team growth. Most of the new hires joined the product and engineering teams, coming from companies including Amazon, DELL, ZoomInfo, Cisco, Trulioo, LexisNexis, Plaid, Fifth Third Bank, The Walt Disney Company, and X.
Worth also named Keith Durden Chief Financial Officer in April. Durden brings deep experience in financial operations and growth-stage scaling, with a focus on building the modeling and reporting infrastructure the company needs for global expansion. He's already earned a feature in CFO Brew since joining the team.
In addition to the twice-annual company-wide offsites, Worth used the new HQ to bring teams together for focused sessions throughout H1. For example, in May, the customer success and operations teams gathered onsite to align on the product roadmap and work through the platform capabilities and enhancements being rolled out to customers.
What's next
As Worth heads into the second half of the year, the company’s direction hasn't changed, but its scale has increased significantly.
"We are not another one-size-fits-all product for an industry that needs more flexibility, transparency, and control," said Worth CEO and Co-founder Sal Rehmetullah. "We are building configurable infrastructure that meets each institution where it is, helps teams verify truth, take action faster, and gives them confidence to adapt as financial services become increasingly autonomous. The milestones we’ve already reached this year show that our vision is moving from concept to scale, and we’re not slowing down. We’re going to keep building that momentum."
Worth's technology is increasingly deployed in environments where legacy tools weren't built for autonomous decision-making and where speed, accuracy, and auditability all matter simultaneously. If you want to see what that looks like in practice, request a demo with our team.
